Nanhthi mirnak thay menek Ironwood Clapsticks

Clapsticks are traditionally made from thay menek – ironwood. The ironwood from the Wadeye is highly prized for it quality and colour. My ceremonial group is Wangga and our Kardu Minka (clapsticks players) are also singers. This important responsibility will be passed from generation to generation in our families.
